How to skip missions in Prophecies?
I once read that you can complete Prophecies in a matter of hours. I assume you do this thru runs that cut substantial parts of the game out, like the droks run ( the only run I actually know the name of...)
My question is, how does one skip most of the missions in Prophecies. Even if I wanted to get run thru these places, I don't know what outposts to go to ask for a run. (although I intend to make the run myself). So can anyone please give me a primer on how to skip thru Prophecies? And the missions I HAVE to beat, and the ones I can skip together.... P.S. I just want aura of the lich, I really don't care about beating the game (without using a tome), and the new peacekeeper boss is way easier to get it from than in the ring of fire... |

Speaking strictly of missions, you can get run to Droknar's Forge and then to Thunderhead Keep. Complete that one and the three fire island missions to beat the campaign.
For Tyrian characters there is a little more to do; otherwise you won't have all the attribute points. You would need a run to Sanctum Cay, which is the only way to access the desert. Finish all the missions there before picking up again in the Shiverpeaks. |

to skip missionbs just walk past the outposts or don't do them. quickest way is to do all main quests in pre-searing and nothing else. then get a run to LA/beacon's perch. then get a run to thunderhead keep and do the last 4 missions of prophecies.

Note that it's sometimes faster or better to do a mission than to be run to later missions. For example, it can be faster to run through Borliss Pass + Frost Gate than to run through the Iron Horse Mines and down to Beacon's Perch.
Similarly, you almost certainly want to do Iron Mines of Moladune to get infused armour before tackling the Mursaat in Thunderhead Keep or the Ring of Fire - plus it then jumps you to the next mission. Mind you, the first time I completed Thunderhead Keep I didn't know about infusing ... that was one tough mission! |
